About the Australian Police Football Association
The Australian Police Football Association unites police officers from every state and territory through a shared passion for Australian Rules Football. For 27 years, the association has run the National Police Football Championship, one of the longest-standing police sporting competitions in the country.
The championship fosters camaraderie, physical health, and mental resilience among members of one of Australia’s most demanding and vital professions. It connects police officers across state and territory boundaries in a spirit of healthy competition and mutual respect.

Production of the APFA Journal Five thousand copies per issue are produced and distributed to members and police stations nationwide. With a readership of more than 20,000, the magazine is a vital tool for maintaining the camaraderie and connection of the national championship.

Funding the National Police Football Carnival The sponsorship contributes to the essential funds needed to host the national carnival, helping secure the future of this event for generations of police officers to come.

Thank you for supporting The Australian Police Football Association (APFA). The APFA is made up of police officers Australia wide. Your support will help us to produce the APFA magazine, a vital component in maintaining the camaraderie of this national police football championship, that has been alive and well for 27 years. Your support will also assist us in helping to raise the needed funds to host our national police football carnival. 5000 copies of the magazine with a readership of 20,000 plus will be produced and distributed to members and police stations, ensuring all can be involved and this great competition will be around for future generations to come.
