Laxmi Home Loans was proud to return as the Men’s Basketball Title Sponsor for the Double Dhamaka 10th MONA Cup Australia 2026, held at the Auburn Basketball Centre in Lidcombe on 6 and 7 June 2026. This marks the second year running that LHL has backed the tournament, following our sponsorship in 2025.
A Tournament Built on Community
The MONA Cup is organised by MONA Australia, the Myagdi Overseas Nepalese Association. It has grown into one of the biggest Nepalese community sporting events in the country.
This year’s Double Dhamaka edition combined volleyball and basketball into a single one day tournament. The total prize pool across both codes was AUD 20,000.
Eleven basketball teams travelled from different states and cities to compete. Players, coaches, families and supporters came together over two days of finals action.

Tournament Results
MONA Australia claimed the champion’s title. The team took home the trophy, medals and a cash prize of AUD 3,105.
Wild Yaks Basketball Team finished as runners up. They received a trophy, medals and a cash prize of AUD 1,555.
